End Grain Sealing Wax has been specifically designed to seal the exposed end grain of timber boards such as decking and fascias. Application will minimise any water absorption, thus protecting the end grain of each board.

The surface is water and dirt resistant. Swelling and shrinking as well as 'bleeding' of the wood's tannins will be reduced.

End Grain Sealing Wax is an external use product.

Product Details:

• Transparent finish
• Coverage: Approximately 5 square metres per litre of end grain surface with one coat. 1 litre will cover approximately 600 decking boards on both ends.
• No. of coats: 2
• Application: Good quality brush
• Drying time: Approximately 3-4 hours
• Storage times: 5 years unopened, 1 year once opened
• Sizes: 375ml and 2.5 litres

Additional Advice:

2 coats are recommended. After drying, the timber should be treated with an Osmo finishing product such as Decking Oil, Natural Oil Woodstain or Country Colour.
